The Hip Abduction

The Hip Abduction bring a horn-driven blend of dub reggae, West African rhythms, and indie pop out of St. Petersburg, Florida. Formed in 2010, the band hit #5 on the Billboard Reggae chart with their 2013 self-titled album and have toured with Dirty Heads, Slightly Stoopid, Galactic, and The Revivalists. They’ve played Red Rocks and Suwannee Hulaween; at Revolution Hall, that island groove lands at club range.
